QVC & HSN Virtual Beauty Bash

metroConnections designed a custom virtual experience from the ground up to transition QVC & HSN's annual Beauty Bash trade show into a fully virtual event that allowed attendees to connect with their favorite beauty brands in the comfort of their own homes.


After being forced to cancel their 2020 Beauty Bash due to COVID-19, QVC & HSN hired metroConnections to develop a virtual event that excited and engaged customers, and aligned with the exacting brand standards of QVC, HSN, and more than 38 participating beauty industry brands.


metroConnections designed and hosted a virtual event environment featuring a wide variety of activities for attendees, including presentations from more than 30 beauty experts and celebrities, live video chat Q&As with QVC and HSN television personalities, a scavenger hunt with prizes, a customized beauty shop ecommerce platform, and more.



Beauty Bash's Beauty Exhibits featured four different virtual event halls showcasing custom-branded trade show booths from 38 industry-leading beauty brands. Each of these booths offered attendees a variety of clickable touch-points offering new product information, educational videos, and an opportunity to instantly message with brand representatives.



QVC & HSN sold or gave away 10,000 tickets to Beauty Bash, allowing their event to reach a new audience of attendees that may not have been able to travel to an in-person event. metroConnections tracked more than 1.8 million engagements by those attendees during the event, an average that's four times higher than other comparable virtual events.
